Oldham goes ‘Green’ with our smart waste bins and smart app!

Our partner Wybone Limited has placed the first 20 Ultra 240L smart waste bins in Oldham, near Manchester (England). 

Not only will these 20 smart bins help to reduce street waste, but the city has also chosen to use our Data Fill app in order to keep track of the waste in 998 existing waste bins.  

This app is designed to accurately determine the filling level, regardless of the type of waste. Afterwards the data will be send to the Smart City Manager, our management and monitoring system that logs the status and usage data of our products and keeps your employees up to date. This helps map out a more efficient route for emptying the bins, which results in 75% savings on waste collection costs.

Oldham has gone completely ‘Smart and green’. Which city will be next?
